Here’s some little chicks I hatched out on a post-it while at the office…

This week’s theme is crunchy. And since rabbits enjoy crunchy things to eat, here are a pair of hares sharing a crunchy meal.
Also, please check out the Art in a Box links. Some of my colleagues and I run an employee art gallery and every year we try to do a holiday fundraiser.
This year we are raising funds for Art in a Box which is a terrific organization that uses art to help at-risk children around the world. You can view our on-line benefit exhibit of art donated by several contemporary artists as well as an on-line exhibit of artwork by Cambodian children. All proceeds benefit Art in a Box programs! Please take a look and enjoy!

This week’s topic inspired me to revisit some of my figure drawings—there’s definitely some blurring going on with pastel and chalk. After scanning this piece into Photoshop, I used the smudge tool for the first time. Smudge resides alongside Blur, so I think they must be close cousins. Or at least good friends.
thanks for looking!
